How can you lower the electrical bill for your home or business?
In residences: Timers for heavy use appliances (water heaters, pool filter pumps) can be installed. In residences as well as businesses inefficient lighting is often to blame for excessively high electrical usage. DFM can provide you with an energy use survey, and make recommendations on lighting upgrades, installation of high efficiency motors and other cost saving methods. Many times the initial installation cost will be subsidized by the local electric utility company.

Do you charge for estimates on electrical work?
No, we do not charge. In unusual situations if some diagnostic or troubleshooting work is required in order to work up a quotation there may be a charge. This amount would of course be applied to the cost of the installation.

Does DFM Electric provide security systems?
Yes, we are licensed (Master Electrician as well as Dept. of Public Safety security installers SSCO license) to do so.

Do you install cabling for computer networks?
Yes, DFM Electric techs are trained in the installation of small scale (residential) CAT 6 computer network cable systems, and larger (commercial) LAN networks.

DFM Electric is licensed to provide electrical services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the State of New Hampshire.
